In today's video I release the iBEC, iBSS and ASR Patches for iPhone 5,1 and 5,3. Those patches were missing from my previous video.
Those patches are useful for patching the signature checks inside ASR, iBEC and iBSS during restores or downgrades; you can use them in Odysseus app on OS X or with Firmware Manager on Windows. Keep in mind the IPSW made with patches like these will require exploit to be pushed, in this video I explain why, and how the Boot Chain works in iOS.
In some cases, Odysseus allows downgrades for compatible devices, these patches are a key point of the downgrade procedure as they patch the signature on Low Level (iBOOT) for blobs and file integrity.
If you'd like to encourage these FREE iOS-related projects I am working on, give this video a Like and a Share. If you don't like it, feel free to dislike, I don't mind.
