New mach_portal Jailbreak Improvements To Come & Should You Update to iOS 10.31?

In today's video we're discussing the strange situation behind iOS 10.3.1 and iOS 10.2.1, where you should be staying (Now that Luca KPP Bypass MIGHT work on iOS 10.2.1) and we're going to also discuss about the fact that Adam Donenfeld's exploits might be usable to improve mach_portal Jailbreak for iPhone 7 users when it gets released.

A couple of hours ago Luca Todesco has posted on his twitter a couple of tweets in which he talks about mach_portal and the fact that iOS 10.3.1 bugs might be usable to improve mach_portal, but he also mentioned that he THINKS his old KPP Bypass from back on iOS 10.2 might be working on iOS 10.2.1 on PRE iPhone 7 devices because iOS 10.2.1 was released shortly after iOS 10.2. Well, this was not tested tho, and due to that, now both iOS 10.3.1 and iOS 10.2.1 seem good. My recommendation: Just in case Luca's KPP proves to work on iOS 10.2.1, if you haven't updated already, don't update to iOS 10.3.1. If you've already updated, it is okay, you're not screwed. You will still be able to make use of anything that might get dropped for iOS 10.3.1, including whatever Pangu releases (if they do) and the exploit Adam Donenfeld will publish in the summer that will allow you to downgrade to any version for which you've saved your blobs.

If you're a regular viewer of this channel you probably know I've told you (too) many times to save your SHSH2 blobs since iOS 10.1.1, so most of you should have their iOS 10.2.1 and iOS 10.2 blobs already saved. If you haven't saved any blobs (for iOS 10.1.1, iOS 10.2 or iOS 10.2.1), it is going to be a bit harder for you because this means you rely on Pangu to release something or on other devs to develop around the exploit created by Donenfeld.

Anyways, iOS 10.2.1 users aren't happier, even if iOS 10.2 KPP Bypass proves to be usable on iOS 10.2.1, who will build the Jailbreak? Luca himself said he quit public jailbreaks, so another dev will have to come and put his iOS 10.2.1 exploits on the table (those exploits have to be new, available in iOS 10.2.1 because iOS 10.2 exploits were already patched when iOS 10.2.1 came out), it can be months until someone does that or it can be never. It is really hard to take an iOS 10.2.1 in consideration thinking about the fact that iOS 10.2.1 was seeded 5 months ago (January) and no one did nothing for it. But yeah, follow Luca's advice and stay there if you haven't updated already.
