Although there is currently no public jailbreak for iOS 10.3.3 or 10.3.2/1, Adam Donenfeld will release his kernel exploit for iOS 10.3.1 in less than 2 days; This release has been announced since May, so the hype already reached epic levels anyways, so I've decided to clarify some things about what can and can't be done with this exploit. At first, everyone needs to keep in mind that this is NOT a Jailbreak release but an exploit (+ instructions) release and although Adam said he would help anyone interested into wrapping it into a #Jailbreak, that doesn't necessarily mean someone will do.
This exploit does not include KPP Bypass, so it can't be used for a full jailbreak as is, the KPP about which we're discussing in the video, also known as Kernel Patch Protector runs in ARM EL3 which means you can't fully disable it, you need to bypass it. Such bypass has been seen before in #Pangu Jailbreaks and in #Yalu.
Coolstar has an interesting point, he wonders whether a jailbreak that does all the patching in Userland would be feasible; He mentions racing KPP to remount the file system tho. We're discussing more about this in the video and I'll also present some of my thoughts on it.
This exploit might be used for something else, equally important, downgrades. Should have saved iOS 10.2 and iOS 10.1.1 blobs as this exploit might finally help you use them with FutureRestore and get back to 10.2 or 10.1.1 and jailbreak with Yalu.
