Today, I am gonna show you how you can download iOS 10 Beta 1 that was released Yesterday during WWDC 16 on your iPhone, iPad or iPod without any Apple Developer Account.
iOS 10 comes with a remake on the Lock screen as well as the visual effects. Also, Apple addressed a few bugs in this first release.
Also, alongside with iOS 10, Apple released during the first days of WWDC 16, the betas for watchOS 3.0 which comes with some great new features, the new OS X version Sierra wich marks the end of the OS X. The operating system will be called from now, macOS Sierra. This new version, unfortunately, is NOT compatible with iMACs and Macbooks made in 2007, 2008 and Early & Mid 2009. The compatibility starts from iMac Late 2009, this marking the end of life for the older device. Of course your device will continue to run properly and will most likely receive Security updates for El Capitan, but if you want to install Sierra which now comes with Siri for Mac, you will need at least an iMAC from Late 2009 or a Macbook Pro from Late 2009.
We strongly recommend a 2011 or 2012 model if you decide to upgrade as 2009 and 2010 models risk to get dropped in the next versions too and you might not want to upgrade each and every time a new macOS version comes.
iOS 10 also marks the end of one of the most loved devices, the iPhone 4S which was supported starting from iOS 5.0 to iOS 9.3.3. There are no Beta Builds for iOS 10 iPhone 4S this confirming the rumors I started 3 months ago. But wait, this not all. None of the A5 Chip devices are supported by iOS 10, thus meaning that iPod Touch 5th Generation might not be supported as well.
Apple A6 Chip in the iPhone 5 and 5C and also iPad 4 are the last supported 32-bit SoCs in the iPhone and iPads. Most likely iOS 11 will be the first to be all-64-bit across all hardware and devices dropping iPhone 5 and 5C once and forever. It's sad… We all have beautiful memories with these devices. Of course, they will continue to work but on iOS 9.3.3 sharing the situation with iPhone 4 which got stuck on iOS 7.1.2 for years.
