In this video, we’re discussing the release of #Unc0ver Jailbreak v3.3.0 Beta 1 and Beta 2, the official update for Unc0ver for iOS 12.1.3, iOS 12.1.4 and iOS 12.2 with #Cydia. Yes, iOS 12.2, iOS 12.1.4 and iOS 12.1.3 are finally fully jailbroken on some devices using the new Sockpuppet tfp0 kernel exploit released by Ned Williamson of Google Project Zero just a few hours ago. Pwn20wnd and Sam Bingner were quick to update the Unc0ver jailbreak with Cydia and Cydia Substrate on the aforementioned versions, but you should keep in mind that it’s still in Beta so bugs are expected.
Unfortunately, Ned Williamson’s exploit seems to be broken on 4K devices (A7 and A8), which are iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5S and iPod Touch 6th Generation. For these devices, there is no jailbreak for the moment. Also, A12 devices are currently not supported by this Unc0ver release. The A12 devices are the iPhone XS, XS MAX and iPhone XR. Also, the iPad Pro A12 devices are not supported either. For these devices, you’re better off waiting for the Chimera Jailbreak which will be updated in the next couple of hours.
