In today's video, we're discussing the current status of the iOS 12.2, #iOS 12.1.4 and iOS 12.1.3 #Jailbreak, as well as the best iOS version or versions to stay on if you want to jailbreak as fast as possible. This is an important discussion to have, especially since iOS 12.2 comes with important modifications and security improvements meant to make iOS Jailbreaking harder. According to security researcher John Åkerblom, KASLR (Kernel Address Space Layout Randomization), one of the security mechanisms that protect the iOS Kernel has been hardened with iOS 12.2.
Pwn20wnd also expressed his concerns about the future of jailbreak, at least on A12 devices. In his opinion jailbreaking is becoming increasingly harder than it used to be, so now more than ever it is very important to stay on the best firmware for your best shot.
Of course, iOS 12.2 has patched a ton of bugs and vulnerabilities that can be used for jailbreaking but since they've been patched on 12.2, iOS 12.2 is completely immune to them, so at this moment iOS 12.2 is not the best idea in terms of jailbreaking. Fortunately, iOS 12.1.4 is still signed by Apple, though not for long.
