A few days ago I gave you a piece of pretty bad news. Pwn20wnd, one of the main #Unc0ver #Jailbreak developers has bootlooped his device. Fortunately, Corellium has stepped in and saved the situation. #Corellium provides virtual iOS devices for testing and coding purposes. Any modern iOS device on any modern iOS firmware, jailbroken or not. You can create your own devices, test on them, remove them and start over. That is a huge improvement in how we develop jailbreaks because a bootloop can no longer hinder the development since you can just remove the bootlooped device and build quickly a new one. Now that Pwn20wnd has access to the service he can test sensitive jailbreak components without risking an actual physical device which is pretty big news.
Following the announcement that he's got access to Corellium, Pwn20wnd made it clear that only two big components are left to update before the A12 and A12X people can jailbreak with Cydia and the Substrate. By the way, A12 and A12X devices are iPhone XS, iPhone XS MAX, iPhone XR and iPad Pro latest generation.
