It's finally here, the #Unc0ver #Jailbreak for #iOS 12.0 all the way up to iOS 12.1.2 was released to support A7, A8, and A8X devices as well as A9 through A11. The previous betas were only supporting A9-A11 which is quite a limited range and the older devices like iPhone 5S, 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were not included. Now they are and you can Jailbreak them with #Cydia and Cydia Substrate (Tweaks) working. The first Beta to add support for iPhone 6, 6 Plus, iPhone 5S and iPod Touch 6th Generation is Beta 40 that was released a few hours ago by Pwn20wnd and Sam Bingner.
Some devices (iPod Touch 6th Generation and possibly iPhone 5S) may take a lot of reboots before the jailbreak will work. The exploit used (v3ntex) is very flaky and it is in the process of being replaced with Ben Sparkes' kernel exploit which is very reliable. That will very likely be in the next Beta. This beta (40) also fixes some issues with an iOS 12 patch thus making the jailbreak more reliable and stable now on the supported device.
The A12 devices are not supported for the moment by Unc0ver (that is iPhone XS, iPhone XS MAX and iPhone XR as well as the latest iPad Pros). Support for these devices will be added and things are being worked on, but for now, these remain unsupported. The installation is as usual, through either Cydia Impactor by sideloading the Beta 40 IPA or by using Ignition for a No-Computer version.
