In today's video, we have great news for those of you who are still using iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPod Touch 6Th Generation, etc. These 4K devices are finally starting to get supported by Pwn20wnd in the Unc0ver Jailbreak after being initially left out in Brandon Azad's exploit which was targeting more the 16K devices (iPhone 7, iPhone 8, X, XS MAX, etc.). Jake James, the developer behind the RootlessJB has updated the v3ntex exploit released by @tihmstar so that it can be used without hardcoded offsets which were a problem initially.
The #Unc0ver Jailbreak is open source and it is being updated and worked on to have full iOS 12 support with Cydia as we speak. The development can be followed on the project's GitHub, but I'd recommend staying away from the pre-releases for now. It's best to wait for the stable version to mitigate the risk of messing something up in the early stages. Apple has stopped signing iOS 12.1.2 and iOS 12.1.1 a while ago and therefore it's impossible to downgrade without SHSH2 blobs saved. Speaking of which, according to Jake James, the improved exploit can now be used to build a NonceSetter for A6 and A7 devices for those who may wanna downgrade with FutureRestore on iOS 12.
