In today's video, I have a release for those of you who were patiently waiting for something to happen for A7 and A8 devices, also known as 4K devices. That is iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPod Touch 6th Generation, which were not supported by the voucher_swap exploit by Brandon Azad and were therefore left behind from RootlesJB and Unc0ver. That is about to change. I finally updated #GeoFilza, which is a Filza version that doesn't need a Jailbreak because it runs the exploit by itself to obtain the necessary sandbox escape and rootification, and it now works on A7 through A12 on iOS 12.0 up to #iOS 12.1.2
Finally, you have a tool you can use while you are waiting for a full Jailbreak like Unc0ver to be released. With GeoFilza you can do most of what you'd be able to do with Filza from Cydia. That is edit save games, edit apps, move files around, transfer your data to and from the computer, and edit system files to change the device resolution or to install effects, etc. If you combine GeoFilza with the Unc0ver for iOS 12 which for now only remounts the filesystem as read/write on A9 through A11 devices, you'll be able to have complete R/W access on the system with GeoFilza.
More updates will follow, but for now I believe GeoFilza is in a pretty good shape to be usable for the general public, however, it should be noted that @tihmstar's v3ntex exploit used for iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPod touch 6th Generation (4K devices) is a bit flaky on some of these devices. If GeoFilza triggers a reboot it's because of the exploit failing. You'll just have to try again. Also, please make sure you sideload the IPA file with Cydia Impactor. The version from the signing services does not work.
