In today's video, I have something very special for me to present – my own iOS 12 Jailbreak. It's been in the works for a while now and it's the updated version of my #Osiris Jailbreak for #iOS 11 released back on 2018. This new version drops QiLin completely. I rely on my own patches or patches from other developers to build the post-exploitation part of the jailbreak. The jailbreak although more developer-oriented (as in, it has more developer tools integrated), can be used by the general public and will be available soon. It also includes a package manager, but it's not Cydia – rather a Cydia alternative called Saily by Lakr233.
The #jailbreak itself comes with a ton of Unix binaries that are very useful for development and setting up an iOS lab for any sort of reverse engineering projects. It also includes jtool by Jonathan Levin which allows one to disassemble arm64 binaries straight on the iOS device through SSH. The SSH is provided by Dropbear which runs automatically when you jailbreak with Osiris. Filza file manager is also installed by default for quick file manipulation. It's a lightweight jailbreak designed to contain a lot of dev tools and to be easily removable with a footprint as small as possible.
The Osiris Jailbreak 12 will be open-sourced on my GitHub (GeoSn0w) under the Osiris Jailbreak 12 repository and the code will be documented. Do not forget to subscribe to stay updated with more Jailbreak news!
