In today's video, we're discussing some important info about the future of Cydia and a possible upcoming jailbreak from saurik and a legendary team. Saurik has been hinting to a new jailbreak for iOS 11 for quite a while. He doesn't seem to be very impressed by the model adopted by Electra and he seems to be willing to release a jailbreak with proper Cydia and proper Substrate, not just a watered down version.
In the past months, saurik hinted he is working with a developer on this, but did not give too many details on who is the developer, however, recently, p0sixninja, a jailbreaker from back in the days, posted "eta son!!!!" on his twitter account. Subsequent tweets hint to the fact that he's talking about the jailbreak saurik is building. When asked about that, he replied with the fact that we can't only credit saurik, it is a legendary team behind it.
When asked whether it will support iOS 11.2.1, he replied with "probably not in the way you want it to", which although I don't understand, hints to the fact that something is definitely going on under the hood for iOS 11.2.x. When the same guy asked whether he should update his device, p0sixninja replied with "not your iphone, no".
It is hard to tell what they are up to, but they're definitely going to release a great jailbreak so I can only be so happy to see this progress.
