In today's video, we're talking the current situation of the iOS 10.3.1, iOS 10.3.2, iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 11.x Jailbreak as for the first week of December. After running a channel poll, I have come to the conclusion that a very big chunk of my audience is running iOS 11.x, which is not the best thing, considering that the same audience voted in a different poll that they'd want more Jailbreak Update videos.
This means two things. First, people are updating to the newest firmware more often than I thought, and second, these people updating to iOS 11 are the same people waiting for a jailbreak. This confirms my theory that many jailbreakers are newcomers and they don't quite know the "rules" of jailbreaking, one of which is "don't update to the newest version".
Some people also updated from iOS 10.3.3 because they consider iOS 10.3.3 has no public exploits/vulnerabilities. In fact, it does. In the video, I am showcasing a vulnerability that has been reported back in September that is, in fact, present on iOS 10.3.3 and lower. This, in addition to other vulnerabilities present on iOS 10.3.3 that were disclosed earlier this year means that iOS 10.3.3 has more chances for a public jailbreak than iOS 11 does at this moment.
In other news, tihmstar did it again! He managed to jailbreak his iPhone 4S from Safari (WebKit exploit?), however, he did not specify which iOS version, but a demo might be coming soon. Don't get your hopes too high tho, it will not be released to the general public – mostly to prevent people from using it in iCloud Bypass contexts.
