In today's video we're discussing about the current events in the iOS Jailbreak community, as a couple of things had happened or are going to happen that you should be aware of, but instead of making 5 or 6 separate videos, I've decided to compile them into a single UPDATE one to keep you all informed. This video addresses the following topics: At first we're discussing about the new iPhone 7 JAILBREAK (Yalu) Substrate Enabler that was created a week ago. The reason I am only mentioning it now, is that I wanted to make sure it is a stable one and won't affect your device. You probably know, substrate fixes and substrate enablers for Yalu Jailbreak have been created in the past and all of them were defective, so I wanted to make sure I recommend you a good one. This one seem to be working properly and comes as a Cydia Repo from which you can get the tool.
The second thing we're going to discuss targets the users of the iOS 9.3.3 Pangu Jailbreak! The Jailbreak tool created by Pangu for iOS 9.3.3 (and lower) has an embedded 1 Year Certificate, unfortunately that certificate is either already expired, or is going to expire soon. After it expires, the Jailbreak app will no longer start. Luca Todesco has built with Pangu a browser alternative for that, called JBME, which you can use after the certificate gets revoked / expires. Although possibly not know until now, I think a lot of people will start using it after the certificate expires. This is quite important as you can't Jailbreak with any other tool (Pangu is the only tool that can Jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 on 64-Bit) so this trick will help you keep your Jailbreak working.
The next thing we're covering in today's video is the iOS 8.0 / 8.1 Jailbreak that is no longer available, if you have an iOS 8.0 / 8.1 device, don't update it. Finally, we recap the MOSEC 2017's scheduled topics, in which for the moment we know an Apple Watch Jailbreak is going to be presented in action and another security researcher will talk about iOS 10.1 – 10.3.x mitigations, exploits, and vulnerabilities.
