In today's video we're talking more in-depth about Pangu's Jailbreak for iOS 10.3.1 that was indeed confirmed to be real. In this video I've decided to address a few important things, including the possibility that the Jailbreak won't be released. A post has been published on a Chinese website in which Pangu's members say "Just because we demoed a Jailbreak doesn't mean we're going to release it", or something along these lines (the translation is very poor due to the Chinese to English Google Translate issues).
Anyways, a big number of people have asked me whether they should update to iOS 10.3.1 from iOS 10.2 or iOS 10.2.1, so I've also decided to cover that in today's video. You should stay on the lowest firmware possible for the moment. Nothing is certain and as Pangu said, just because they managed to Jailbreak iOS 10.3.1, that doesn't mean a release is imminent.
Pangu Team has apparently demoed the Jailbreak yesterday at Janus conference, and it is apparently running on iPhone 7 iOS 10.3.1. If the rumors about Pangu releasing the Jailbreak next week EVER come true, the Jailbreak will most likely be Tethered (due to the app being used to jailbreak and considering the last Pangu jailbreak), and only available for 64-Bit, again only if it happens to get released.
So for the moment: SAVE your iOS 10.3.1 SHSH blobs, Don't update your iOS device under any circumstances and don't get overhyped for the moment as nothing is really certain.
P.S. Saturday April 29 I was invited to hold an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Jailbreak Discord Server, if you have any questions about Jailbreak, tweaks, iOS security, or anything you may want to ask me, drop you questions on this Reddit post. The best questions coming from the channel viewers will be highlighted in a video the next day 🙂 If you are coming from the channel, after the question include your channel name or #FromYoutube
