In today's video I will show you how to get Windows XP running on iPhone or iPad without Jailbreak, on iOS 10.0 to 10.3 Beta. This is pretty interesting as it does not require Jailbreak, therefore, all the virtualization is done by a single sandboxed app, which is quite astonishing. Now, don't expect this to be blazing fast, especially if you have an older device (iPhone 6 for example). Windows XP is clearly not optimized for your small amount of RAM and nor for ARM CPU, therefore it can't be used as a main system. I don't this really has an use, rather than pure experiment and curiosity, to be brutally honest, but it is an interesting project to do for those who wanna get into iOS limits breaking.
Thing is, newer devices run this smoother because they have bigger amounts of RAM compared to older devices. Anyways, again, don't expect to use this as you do on a PC, the purpose of this is not to replace your PC, but to give you something interesting to try on a non-Jailbroken device. I have tried this on iPhone 6, and to be honest, it isn't working fast at all here, but again, iPhone 6 is pretty darn slow in terms of RAM. I assume a newer iPad / iPad Pro, or an iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, 7 or 7 Plus would do even better.
Anyways, props to the author of the package (whoever that is), the pack was not signed.
