In today's video, we're taking a look at Sileo, a #Cydia alternative by the Electra Jailbreak Team that has been in development since July 2018 and is finally released as a Public Beta Preview. The Public Beta Preview works fine and allows you to install tweaks and add sources, etc, but tweak purchases can only be done through Dynastic Repo during Beta testing. In this video, we're taking a look at Sileo, how it looks, how it works, how it stands up against Cydia and whether it is worth using.
Of course, for the moment it is only available through the Electra Jailbreak, though efforts are being made by the Unc0ver developers to port it to Unc0ver as well for people to be able to test it. Electra Jailbreak is compatible with iOS 11.4 Beta 3 and lower all the way down to #iOS 11.0, so if you are running any of this firmware you can try Sileo. Sileo in itself is compatible with newer iOS as well, but there is no Jailbreak available.
Overall, I like #Sileo. For a Beta Preview, it stands up very well for itself and tweaks installation was quick and nice. I'd give it an 8 out of 10 for now.
