Following up to a conversation with another security researcher, I decided to make a video about the iOS 9.3.5 Jailbreak for 32-Bit Devices by Brando1235703 that was posted in Beta (incomplete) on Github and Reddit a month ago and is bound to be completed, according to Brando, tomorrow March 9th. Prior to that, I decided to analyze a little bit something iTrickz, the security researcher with which I've talked sent me. It was a video posted by Brando on his YouTube channel in which he "demonstrates" the iOS 9.3.5 Jailbreak, but what is making me more skeptical than I was before is actually the fact that in the video, when he uses mobile terminal, the device prints the kernel version 15.0.0 (Darwin Kernel), which is not corresponding to the iOS 9.3.5, it is actually corresponding to iOS 9.2.
Another thing that makes me highly skeptical is the project itself that is only containing some very basic alert popping code, and not even the appropriate constraints for screen sizes.
Anyways, I am looking forward to see what Brando is going to release tomorrow. If he does…
