In today's video we're quickly discussing about CoolBooter that has been updated to fully support iPhone 4S. Coolbooter is an application that works with Jailbroken 32-Bit devices so that you can have 2 different iOS versions at the same time running on your iPhone and you can switch between them as you wish. This method, as I said, require a Jailbreak so it targets iPhone 4S running iOS 9.3.4 or lower.
Depending on the device, you can dualboot to various iOS versions, for example, I've used it on iPhone 4 (32-Bit device) and I got both iOS 7.1.2 (latest) and iOS 6.x both of them fully functional and even Jailbroken, so, it is a pretty nifty tool to have on your Jailbroken 32-Bit iDevice.
Coolbooter is available in Cydia, but keep in mind it is in Beta. If you spot any bugs, you can contact the Coolboter Twitter profile, I also recommend following that page for updates.
Coolbooter does NOT work on any of the 64-Bit devices due to the tools used to bootstrap the components of the secondary iOS in the memory, but don't worry, if you happen to install Coolbooter on an incompatible device, you will get an error telling you about that so there is nothing bad you can do to the device by installing Coolbooter on incompatible 64-Bit devices.
Note: Configuring Coolbooter's secondary iOS version will require an active internet connection as the IPSW for that version has to be downloaded / patched – I recommend connecting to a WiFi network instead using Cellular Data especially since the IPSWs can go up to 1.8 – 2 GB
