Apple has released iOS 14.2 only a day ago, and it has already proven to be an interesting release for the iOS Jailbreak community. A few hours after the official iOS 14.2 release, developer @_simo36 has released a Kernel Bug PoC (Proof Of Concept) reachable from within the Sandbox, while ZecOps announced that they’re releasing a Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) one very soon.
iOS 14.2 is, however, the bad version to be on right now, because of how many vulnerabilities are patched. However, if security is what means more to you than jailbreak, you should definitely update, because according to ZecOps, a few important vulnerabilities found in the wild have been patched. For those of you who wanna jailbreak, stay as low as possible and save SHSH2 blobs for iOS 14.1 because it will likely stop being available soon.
