In today’s video, we’re discussing iOS 12.4, iOS 12.3.1 and iOS 12.3 Jailbreak status, what is currently going on, what is the status of @derrekr6’s tfp0 kernel exploit for jailbreak and what we should expect in the next weeks/months, and also we’re discussing the iOS 12.3 Beta 1 Jailbreak with Cydia achieved by Pwn20wnd just a few hours ago, and successfully tested by a third-party developer in our community.
Pwn20wnd has sent @albyvar25 a build of Unc0ver with support for #iOS 12.3 Beta 1, which is not normally supported by the jailbreak. Ned Williamson’s tfp0 kernel exploit is supposed to work on iOS 12.1.3 to iOS 12.2 only, and it’s been patched in iOS 12.3 so this exploit would never be usable for a 12.3 Jailbreak, but in a leap of faith, Apple patched the exploit only in the later Betas of 12.3 which makes the already released Beta 1 (and possibly 2 and 3 too, needs confirmation) to be compatible with the exploit. This means that we can use Ned’s exploit to also get a Beta 1 iOS 12.3 Jailbreak which although not many people would use it, it’s still the first 12.3 #jailbreak to emerge.
As for @derrekr6’s exploit, we’re discussing the situation in-depth in the video.
