In today’s video, I am showing you how to save your SHSH2 blobs for iOS 12.3, iOS 12.3.1 and iOS 12.4 in order to be able to #downgrade to these versions or restore to them in the future if something goes wrong with your jailbreak, so that you don’t have to update to the latest signed version and lose your #jailbreak. Without these blobs, once Apple stops signing #iOS 12.3.1, iOS 12.3 and iOS 12.4, nobody will ever be able to downgrade again. These blobs are especially useful once a jailbreak is available for these versions because they ensure that you can restore/downgrade to these versions even if they are no longer signed, with FutureRestore.
In order to save the SHSH2 blobs, all we need is the ECID number of the device. That is a unique number assigned to the device at the factory and cannot be changed. Being unique it can also not be used for other devices, which means that my blobs for iOS 12.3.1 will not work for your device. SHSH2 blobs are personalized to your device ECID so unless you save your own, you cannot use someone else’s.
To save them, we use a tool created by developer 1Conan, called TSSSaver. It’s an online tool which saves and stores your SHSH2 blobs for when you need them. Quite simple to use and it’s cross-platform. Keep in mind that you can only save SHSH2 blobs for iOS versions that are currently signed.
