iOS 12 /12.1.2 JAILBREAK NEWS: CONFIRMED TFP0 EXPLOIT COMING & Unc0ver v2.1.3

In today's video, I have great news for those of you interested in iOS 12.0 / iOS 12.1.2 #Jailbreak! As you probably remember, security researchers Min Spark Zheng and Xiaolong Bai have posted a few days ago on their twitter accounts some proofs that they've successfully obtained the kernel task port (tfp0) and root on iOS 12.1.2 on both KPP devices (iPhone 6S and lower) and newer A12 devices with PAC (iPhone XS, XS Max, and #iPhone XR). This is a huge achievement for the jailbreak community, however, people thought this is never going to be released. Turns out – it will, it's just not sure when.
So, I have asked Xiaolong Bai privately if he's planning to release his research and he confirmed me that he does intend to, but for the moment he's now sure when or in which form he's going to do so. Xiaolong Bai currently has a blog where he posts various security-related write-ups. On January 17 he posted a new write-up about remounting on iOS which is an important jailbreak component. I think he's going to release his tfp0 research very likely under the same form (a write-up or a presentation of sorts).

It's important that you do not update past iOS 12.1.2. In fact, if you are running #iOS 12.0.x or iOS 11.4.1 you should avoid updating.
In other news, Unc0ver Jailbreak for iOS 11.4 Beta 3 and lower has been updated by Pwn20wnd to version 2.1.3 which adds important bug fixes and stability improvements, and also comes with a warning according to which Substitute will no longer be supported in the future versions and it will be replaced fully by Substrate by saurik, Cydia's creator.
