In today's video, we have pretty big news for those of you who are jailbroken on #iOS 11.0 up to iOS 11.4 Beta 3 with the Unc0ver #Jailbreak. Saurik, the creator of Cydia has pushed a new update to the #Substrate which is a component that allows all the tweaks to work properly. Without this component, most of the tweaks would be useless. Up until now, we've been using the Substitute which was unfortunately prone to crashes, reboots, freezes and other issues. With this update, the Unc0ver Jailbreak should work blazing fast and the freezes and random reboots should be gone according to Pwn20wnd, the developer of Unc0ver.
According to Pwn, they've been testing this for 2 months or so, which means that it should be pretty stable. In order to install it, all you have to do is to add the repo specified by saurik (see in the video or in saurik's post on Twitter) to your Cydia repositories and install the substrate. For this to work, you need at least Unc0ver v2.0.0 or newer. The compatibility with Electra Jailbreak is unknown for the moment.
Warning! There may be some tweaks that are not yet compatible with the substrate and have to be updated. A list has been published on Reddit (available below). If you have issues with any of the tweaks in the list, please remove the tweak until it receives an update. The post also contains instructions on how to revert to the Substitute.
