iOS 10.2.1 seem to be lucky, developer Antique_Dev is apparently taking the idea of building a new jailbreak seriously. Recently, he has posted the promised demo of his jailbreak tool. The jailbreak, according to Antique_Dev, uses no parts of #yalu, except the KPP bypass. Antique_Dev also makes use of ziVA exploit that has been published by Adam Donefeld this month.
According to Antique_Dev, one of the beta testers has leaked one of the beta builds, which in term, makes Antique to avoid beta testers from now on. Humph. Hopefully the #jailbreak will get to see the light of a release. With all these exploits already available and with the KPP bypass from Yalu102 still usable in #iOS 10.2.1, it would be a shame to not build this jailbreak.
Now, of course, some of you would ask, who the hell is still running iOS 10.2.1? Well, quite a lot of people from what I can see, and while you might not be running this version, mind the others who do. For them, this would mean a lot as they get to finally jailbreak.
A lot of people ruin iOS 10.2.1 due to bugs in AppSync tweak that initially caused a lot of unrecoverable bootloops in the first days of Yalu102, forcing some to update to 10.2.1.
If Antique_Dev releases his jailbreak, I will keep you updated, so don't forget to SUBSCRIBE with notifications on.
