Thanks to tihmstar, a new jailbreak is close, this time for 32-Bit devices, iOS 8.4.1. For the record, iOS 8.4.1 isn't currently jailbroken. the only jailbreak that exists for iOS 8.4.1 is the first version of yalu which is incomplete. Tihmstar seem to have been focused on this #iOS 8.4.1 #jailbreak lately and he seem to be making great progress.
Of course, a lot of people will start talking gibberish about tihmstar focusing on iOS 8.4.1 instead of iOS 10.x, well, there are a lot of people still on iOS 8.4.1, and it is actually possible currently to downgrade untethered without any SHSH blobs some of the 32-Bit devices back to iOS 8.4.1 from iOS 9.3.5 since iOS 9.3.5 is jailbroken with #Phoenix Jailbreak.

A month ago I made a video on how you can downgrade your 32-Bit device from iOS 9.3.5 back to iOS 8.4.1, but at that point the only useful part of downgrading was some speed boost. If tihmstar releases a jailbreak, you will be able to downgrade and jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 so you will get both a jailbreak and a speed boost.
I've been using my #iPod Touch 5th Generation on iOS 8.4.1 for a month now and I can tell you that the speed is totally improved compared to iOS 9.3.5, don't get me wrong, the device is usable on 9.3.5, but just like on the iPhone 4S, iOS 8.4.1 is way faster.
