In today's video, we're going to #recap the current status of the iOS 12.0 all the way up to iOS 12.1.2 #Jailbreak getting a bit into more details about SorryMyBad's kernel vulnerability that provides the kernel task port (tfp0). I did make a video about this when it was announced but because I posted it at an ungodly hour, not a lot of people got to see it and it's actually pretty important, so I'll recap it in this video. also, in this video have pretty good news for FutureRestore users (iOS Downgrade / Upgrade tool).
Yesterday I made a video in which I was announcing the fact that #FutureRestore #iOS downgrade/upgrade tool has been updated by s0uthwest to support iOS 12 and A12 devices, though not FaceID yet. Unfortunately, that build was only for macOS which not everybody has, and macOS isn't an easy operating system to run in a virtual machine. Today, developer @matteyeux has compiled the FutureRestore updated by s0uthwest to work under Linux. This makes it easier for people who do not have a macOS machine because Linux can be easily dual-booted, ran from a Live CD or simply run in a Virtual machine to perform the task with saved SHSH2 blobs.
