In this video, we’re clarifying the Odyssey LibHooker update mentioned by developer Coolstar a few days ago. Initially, we heard that it only works on iOS 14.2 and lower, but as it turns out, upon more testing, Coolstar found that LibHooker works on iOS 14.3 on A12, A13, and A14 too, thus making iOS 14.3 Jailbreakable once the exploit is available. This is pretty good news.
Aside from that, it’s worth noting that iOS 14.3 RC (Release Candidate) is still being signed even if iOS 14.3 is no longer signed, so if you wanna update to iOS 14.3 or downgrade from iOS 14.4, you still can by using the RC, but you should act quickly. Coolstar recommends staying on iOS 14.2, iOS 14.3, or iOS 14.1 (14.0 is also okay) because these are jailbreakable in the near future. We already have announced exploits for these versions on A12, A13, and even A14 (iPhone 12, iPhone 11 and iPhone XS, XR, etc.). Of course, this applies to the older devices as well, but we don’t really mention them because they can already be jailbroken on iOS 14 using CheckRa1n, while for the A12, A13, and A14 devices, there’s no jailbreak currently.
