In today’s video, we have an update for the Jailbreak news we’ve discussed yesterday. Brandon Azad has stepped in and provided information about his iBoot bug that was credited in the iOS 14.0 Security Content by Apple. We finally know what’s going on and whether the rumors about CheckRa1n Jailbreak becoming untethered using this iBoot bug are false or legit.
As it turns out, I was right yesterday when I said that the iBoot thing mentioned by Apple may not even by an exploit as the “Apple Terminal” news outlet claimed. Brandon Azad clarified it is a bug but not a security issue necessarily, and axi0mX has clarified that this cannot be used for a jailbreak, making Apple Terminal’s claims about Untethered CheckRa1n completely fake. Do not update to iOS 14.0, stay as low as possible. CheckRa1n will likely be updated in the near future for iOS 14, but it will remain semi-tethered.
