In today’s video, we’re discussing about a new kernel vulnerability released for iOS 13.3.1 which may be usable for a jailbreak in the future. The #kernel bug is available from the Sandbox, which makes it rather powerful, but can it be used for a proper Jailbreak with Cydia in the future? We’re talking all about that in this video.
The vulnerability itself is CVE-2020-976 which is a kernel bug in AppleJPEGDriverUserClient. Kernel vulnerabilities are usually very useful for Jailbreaks, but not every vulnerability can be used for that. The tfp0 kernel vulnerabilities are usually used for jailbreaks like Unc0ver and Chimera.
