In today’s video, we’re discussing #Pangu Jailbreak Team’s huge release. World’s first SEP vulnerabilities that can be used to load arbitrary SEPOS on certain devices. This would remove the limitations we had in terms of jailbreaks and downgrades caused by SEP incompatibility, or SEP breaking Touch ID / Face ID. This is a huge release that unveiled a lot of useful info about SEP – a component that was extremely secure on all iOS devices until Pangu came around.
SEP or Secure Enclave Processor handles Touch ID, Face ID, Passcode, Encryption, Decryption, Cryptography, etc. on your iOS device. It was considered Apple’s most impenetrable component on iOS, which couldn’t be hacked even when we had a full BootROM exploit released. To have publicly released exploits for it means a LOT.
