In today’s video, we’re discussing a new iOS Downgrade tool based on FutureRestore and #CheckM8, called #RestoreM8. This tool is a beginner-friendly wrapper around the FutureRestore tool that allows you to perform iOS Downgrades using the SHSH2 blobs saved with TSS Saver or other methods. The tool does everything for you once you have all the files in the right folders, which makes the restore process less error-prone.
The tool itself is only available for macOS, but it does work with most recent macOS versions like macOS El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave, and Catalina. The tool supports CheckM8 / CheckRa1n compatible devices such as iPhone 5S all the way up to iPhone X. A12 and A13 devices are not supported, so no iPhone XS, XS Max, XR or iPhone 11. iPhone SE 2020 is also not supported.
