In this video, I will show you the only working method do completely block iOS OTA updates from downloading and installing automatically on iOS 13.0 all the way up to iOS 13.3.1 / iOS 13.4 Beta. This doesn’t use the tvOS profile (the tvOS profile doesn’t even work anymore), and you don’t need a jailbreak for this. It’s completely free, and it only takes a few minutes to set up.
It reliably blocks iOS updates from downloading so you save bandwidth (iOS updates are pretty big most of the time, with the average being 1-2 GB in size), and it also ensures that you stay on a firmware you can jailbreak such as iOS 13.3 currently. Even if auto-updates is turned off in settings, that just prevents it from installing during the day. The update will still download and it will still install during the night if the device is plugged to the wall outlet, so the best way to ensure the update doesn’t take place is to use the method presented in this tutorial.
