In today's video, we're discussing the latest news about the Unc0ver Jailbreak for iOS 12 which is very, very close to the public beta release. Just hours ago Pwn20wnd has posted more information about the development progress and what is left to do. For now, most of what had to be done before the public beta release has been completed. Pwn20wnd announced that more private testing is being done to ensure the Jailbreak is safe, after which the public beta with Cydia and Substrate will be released.
The #Unc0ver #Jailbreak is a full jailbreak with #Cydia and Cydia Substrate and it therefore works exactly like the Unc0ver for iOS 11. You'll be able to install tweaks, themes and utilities. If you were running the RootlessJB by Jake James, Unc0ver will automatically do the cleanup for you. It's advised that you reboot the device before running Unc0ver if you are in a jailbroken state with RootlessJB.
A very interesting Siri shortcut feature has been added to be able to Jailbreak through vocal commands. You'd tell Siri "Hey Siri, Install Cydia". And siri would automatically run Unc0ver. That is actually a pretty nice feature thanks to the Siri Shortcuts in iOS 12, which allow you to program Siri to do something.
