In today’s video, we’re discussing the release of iBoot64Patcher with support for iOS 14 and iOS 15 Beta. An iBoot patcher is a major tool used to build a custom iOS firmware (CFW) for jailbreak purposes, or even for iCloud bypass purposes. This patcher supports A12-A14 iBoot too.
The tool itself is used to apply any patch you want to the iBoot firmware component. For the patched iBoot to be loaded, either an iBoot vuln is used, or a BOOTROM vuln like checkm8. Right now, there’s no BOOTROM or iBoot vuln for A12+, but for the rest of the devices, there’s checkm8. Still, such a tool is great for researchers and developers who build jailbreaks.
