NEW LeetDown iOS Downgrade Tool Update Released! | Downgrade Tool For iOS OTA Signed Builds (A6/A7)

In today’s video, we’re discussing the latest update to a tool called LeetDown which aids in downgrading iOS to signed OTA versions for certain supported devices. LeetDown allows the downgrades thanks to checkm8 exploit and a quirk in Apple’s OTA signing.

See, you can’t OTA update from Settings an older device like iPhone 5 or iPhone 5S from say iOS 6 or iOS 7 directly to the latest version such as iOS 12 or iOS 10, you would need to make a pit stop first to an intermediary firmware such as iOS 8.4.1 and as such these intermediary versions remain signed but only via OTA, not IPSW. This is what LeetDown uses to downgrade.
