Jailbreak detection is when an application checks if the iOS device is jailbroken and prevents the user from using the application, or keeps nagging the user that their device is jailbroken. The method of detection and the reaction the app produces varies wildly from an app to another, but most of them won’t let a jailbroken device pass for no good reason other than because they can.
