Quite a lot of you have been spamming my comments sections with links to various IPAs and videos about a specific Yalu Jailbreak IPA for iOS 10.3 or iOS 10.3.1, which seem to be covered by more and more channels, some of them with decent amount of subscribers, so after I had a look at what they claim, although it is very convincing because they show you the device being on iOS 10.3 and being Jailbroken, the IPA is definitely a hoax.
I decided to download the IPA as well and to analyze it in front of the camera so that people will know once and for all what is going on there and whether they should trust it or not, and surprise: The IPA contains a (modified?) version of Home Depot Jailbreak, which although a real Jailbreak, it is not for iOS 10.3, nor for iOS 10.3.1, it is a Jailbreak for iOS 9.3.4. Strange enough, whoever created the IPA has added some strange images to it, and also removed important parts, like the payload, the music (Home Depot Jailbreak comes with a mixtape), thus rendering the IPA completely useless.
Upon hash examination, the binary from Home Depot although named the same as the one from yalu103 IPA, doesn't match the hash sum, which tells me two scenarios: 1) It was tampered with, which means it can also be dangerous to install, possibly malware or 2) It is a binary from an older version of Home Depot. Or Both.
Anyways, no matter how many 7000 subscribers-channels make videos about it and promote it, don't try it. It is definitely not an iOS 10.3 Jailbreak, no matter how many GitHub projects exist around it. I hope I got things clear.
