iOS 10.0.2 – How To Compile IMG4Tool on Windows (for iOS 10.x Decryption)

In today's video I will show you how to compile xerub's IMG4Tool on Windows using Cygwin. This application is extremely important because it is the only updated tool we have that is compatible with iOS 10 and also with x64 devices to be able to decrypt Ramdisks, Kernel, iBSS, iBEC and so on. All the rest are only compatible with iOS 9.x and x32 devices.

Using this tool is pretty simple. After you compile it, you just need to call it in CMD and load the file to decrypt it. We show a demo in the video. F.C.E. 365 Firmware Manager also includes a feature to decrypt these using IMG4Tool, for beginners.

Cygwin is an application that emulates UNIX environment on Windows PC so that you can compile and run projects that use Linux APIs on Windows as cross-platform apps.
